- 1. How much does a PrecisionTx treatment cost?
Pricing for Precision Tx starts at $3600. A consultation is needed to properly evaluate the areas to be treated so we can provide an accurate price.
- 2. How many treatments are required to achieve the desired results?
Only one PrecisionTx treatment is typically needed to achieve the desired results. Some results are immediate, but complete results develop over several months.
- 3. How does PrecisionTx work?
The PrecisionTx treatment is performed by using a very small cannula (or tube about the size of the tip of a pen) inserted under the skin. A unique laser fiber inside the tube delivers energy directly under the skin. We target areas of fat under the chin and lax skin around the neck and face. The precise laser energy increases the thickness and quality of your skin. Patients can expect a more contoured neck and jawline.
- 4. Can anyone have this treatment?
The best candidates for PrecisionTx are women and men who are not significantly overweight but have common signs of aging around the lower face and neck. A consultation can provide you with the best information.
- 5. Does it hurt?
There is little discomfort associated with the PrecisionTx treatment, since patients are treated with a local anesthetic to numb the areas that will be treated. Patients may feel slight pressure or a warming sensation in and around the areas to be treated, but these are mild sensations. Patients are able to talk with the doctor during the procedure because they are awake and not sedated.
- 6. Are there any side effects?
PrecisionTx is a minimally invasive surgical procedure, therefore after the treatment there will be some swelling and a little soreness. However since PrecisionTx is a minimally invasive laser procedure, incision sites are very small and there is very little bleeding during the procedure. Most patients are able to return to their normal activities in a day or two.
- 7. I have tried everything to get rid of my sagging neck and wrinkles, how do I know PrecisionTx really works?
PrecisionTx is backed by two years of clinical research and cleared for use in the United States. Clinical data has proven PrecisionTx treatments can increase the thickness of the skin by 29%, while disrupting areas of fat and tightening tissue. Thicker skin with diminished pockets of fat can help flatten and smooth the skin’s surface therefore improving the appearance of the lower face and neck. In addition, patients surveyed during a recent clinical study were satisfied or very satisfied with their results after their procedure, and all would recommend the PrecisionTx treatment to a friend.
- 8. How long does the procedure take?
On average, the procedure will take one hour, depending on the size of the areas to be treated. With prep and post care, expect to be in the office 3-4 hours.
- 9. How long do the results last?
Since fat is removed (if needed), and new collagen is formed in the areas treated with PrecisionTx —the procedure produces results that last. However, it is important to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen to continue to enjoy the results.
- 10. Will there be scarring?
The incision sites will be very small. With proper care, any scars will be barely noticeable. In your initial consult, we will evaluate your skin type and provide the best information on scar prevention.
